One Step Pentaque Sports and Tourism Promotion Can Go Well

PANGANDARAN WEST JAVA INDONESIA - Of course the planning has taken one step, everything has been achieved, tourism promotion can go well as well as sports, both career development in the context of competition or competitive events. Of course, this is a very extraordinary event from KONI Pangandaran for tourism promotion and how this petanque sport can be more popular. 

This was stated by the Regent of Pangandaran H Jeje Wiradinata in his welcoming speech at the opening ceremony of the Double Open Petanque sport tourism event KONI Pangandaran Cup 2023 which was held by the Indonesian Petanque Sports Federation (FOPI) Pangandaran Regency, Saturday (20/05/2023). 

He conveyed that, in an effort to bring in domestic and foreign tourists, in promoting Pangandaran tourist destinations, of course, in various ways, for example by improving inside including regional arrangement, to holding various events both cultural and sports, " he said. 

This Pentaque event can be held at a tourist attraction, at Susi Airport to be precise. "Because we also want to promote tourism as well, with sports tourism, " said Jeje. 

According to him, the sport of Petanque already has many fans, even in other countries. "This sport originates from France, and has just entered Pangandaran. We are sure that tourists will be interested in this Pentaque sporting event, especially if it is held in Pangandaran Regency, " he said. 

Meanwhile in a separate location, the Chairman of the KONI of Pangandaran Regency Agus Mulyana said, because the title is open, the double open event Pentaque, participants can come from anywhere. "So on a national scale, there are also possibilities abroad, " he said. 

Invitations have been sent to every Petanque Sports Branch in every city and district, in fact we also plan to invite countries in Europe, Asia and the American continent so that they want to take part in this event in Pangandaran Regency. "We want as many participants as possible, " he said. 

According to Agus, the event can later be held at a tourist attraction, to be precise at Susi Airport which is located on the west coast of Pangandaran, West Java, Indonesia. "Because we also want to promote tourism as well, with sports tourism, " he said. (Anton AS)
